We work with galleries, museums & libraries to reveal works of art in their collections. We animate high-resolution images of the original works to present these works to new audiences.
Social media
We make short animated loops to present works as branded content on social media, including:
Lady Anne Clifford, proto-feminist, for International Women’s Day (in the collection at Lakeland Arts)
Charlie Abrew by Maggi Hambling, to inspire budding animators to delve into the collection of The Hepworth Wakefield
Dr Ronx by Sarah Jane Moon to celebrate LGBT History Month (featured in the National Portrait Gallery’s BP Portrait Award)
Content can be formatted for multiple platforms, including posts and stories on Instagram and Facebook as well as films for Youtube and Vimeo.
Animated Films
We delve deeper into the stories and people behind works of art with short animated films. We worked with The Hepworth Wakefield on their exhibition Of Angels and Dirt, revealing the painter Stanley Spencer (read about the project here). With Dulwich Picture Gallery, we unlocked the story of 18th-century celebrity singer Elizabeth Linley, who created an enduring legacy through her lifelong collaboration with painter Thomas Gainsborough.
