Artists’ Open House

Figuration presents dynamic watercolours and inks by Leo Crane with Small Toad's playful jewellery in silver, brass and bronze.

We invite you to the home of Roy Joseph Butler and Leo Crane as part of Artists' Open House at Dulwich Festival 2019.  Our home will be open as follows:

  • Saturday 11 May, 11-5

  • Sunday 12 May, 11-5

  • Saturday 18 May, 11-5

  • Sunday 19 May, 11-5

Leo Crane is an artist and animator with a keen interest in the human figure. He paints in watercolour and oils under the guidance of Maggi Hambling CBE and is represented by Figuration, the studio he co-founded with Roy Joseph Butler.

Brixton-based Small Toad (aka Lil Adams) took up metal working in 2014. Her jewellery is made from cast objects in silver, brass and bronze, drawing inspiration inspiration from childhood, the natural world and pasta shapes. She trained at City Lit and London Jewellery School .
